I’m giving a presentation for a unique new program and seminar series entitled, The Guide to Good Divorce. The program is designed to help women, mostly age 50-plus, transition successfully through the divorce process to a healthier, happier life.

As you know, divorce is rarely easy, yet learning to navigate those waters can be easier with knowledge and preparation. This program will provide women with vital information they need to make informed decisions about divorce and the divorce process.

The program also addresses the transformative potential of this opportunity as a time of self-discovery and personal growth. The seminars will offer advice and tips on life skills, as well as physical and spiritual wellness.

The half-day Guide to Good Divorce seminars include sessions led by a number of seasoned experts on the law of divorce in Texas, divorce financial planning, life skills, lifestyle and wellness. The seminars also include fun activities such as makeovers, fashion tips and more.

I am presenting a session on The Financial Aspects of Divorce.

The first Guide to Good Divorce seminar will be held on Saturday,

November 5, 2011, 8:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Houstonian Hotel, Club & Spa.

For details, visit www.guidetogooddivorce.com.

The program was created by a friend of mine, Trey Yates, a board certified family law attorney who has practiced in the greater Houston Metropolitan Area since 1986. His idea for the seminars evolved over several years as he realized many of his female clients going through divorce could benefit from additional assistance beyond legal services.

A secondary focus of The Guide to Good Divorce program will be to provide an open and accepting forum for women facing the challenges of divorce.

I truly believe this kind of program has been a long time coming and offers a number of components that will be helpful to many women who are considering or going through divorce.

If you know someone who could benefit from this program, please pass this information along to them. If you have any questions about the seminar, feel free to contact me about it at 832-858-0099.
